Airport taxi rank or prebooked pickup?

Use the general taxi rank if you want to arrange a ride after landing. Prebook with our fleet if you want to confirm a six-seater, luggage layout and fare before you travel. The meeting points and arrangements differ, so follow the instructions for your chosen option.

This guide compares the general taxi rank with a confirmed booking through our fleet. Other operators and booking platforms may have different arrangements.

Which option suits your trip?

Decide after you land

If you have no booking and are happy to use the vehicles available, go to the taxi rank to check your options. Explain your destination, passenger count and luggage requirements before boarding.

Confirm your group’s arrangements ahead

If you are travelling as a family or group of six, or bringing items such as a stroller, share the details in advance to confirm the vehicle, layout and fare. A six-seater label alone does not establish that every combination of bags will fit.

The taxi rank and the P1 zone are different places

The Transport Department’s notice of 25 May 2026 identifies the taxi stand outside the Terminal 1 Arrivals Hall and the separate Prebooked Taxi Pick-up Zone beside Car Park 1. For a prebooked ride, go to the meeting point confirmed for your booking.

The prebooked taxi zone is separate from the private-car parking spaces in P1. Follow current signs and your latest confirmed meeting instructions.

What to prepare before booking

  • Your flight number, arrival date and destination address.
  • Numbers of adults and children. Raise child-seat or accessibility requirements in advance.
  • Bag sizes and quantities, plus any stroller, wheelchair or bicycle.
  • A reachable phone or WhatsApp number. Confirm the vehicle, meeting point and total fare.

Wait for the fleet to confirm arrangements after you submit your details. Collect your luggage before contacting the driver as instructed for your booking.
